DATA SAFETY

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 14, 2026

At the Jodhpur Travel Agents Association (JTA), accessible from jta.org.in, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors and members. This Privacy Policy document outlines the types of information collected and recorded by JTA and how we handle, use, and protect it.

1. Information We Collect

When you use our portal—specifically our membership registration form—we collect a comprehensive dataset required to verify your business credentials. This includes:

  • Business Profiles: Agency name, incorporation establishment year, company website, office telephone numbers, and full postal address details.
  • Personal Identifiers: Full names, designations, corporate email addresses, mobile numbers, and registered WhatsApp contact routes of primary and secondary representatives.
  • KYC Documents & File Uploads: Business attestation documents (GST, MSME certificates, or Shop Act registrations), passport-size photographs, and scanned Government-issued Photo ID proofs (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, or Passport).
  • Networking Data: Names and agencies provided as business references.

2. How We Use Your Data

JTA processes the collected information for specific, legitimate institutional purposes:

  • To evaluate, verify, and approve formal membership applications for the association.
  • To compile and update our secure internal database records and public member directory.
  • To send formal updates, meeting notices, subscription circulars, and event alerts.
  • To contact you directly regarding support questions or directory details validation.

3. Public Visibility & Third-Party Sharing

Directory Visibility: Once a membership application is approved, selected business metrics (Agency Name, Representative Name, Designation, and Profile Image) are made publicly visible in our member directory panel to enable trade networking.

Data Protection Safeguard: JTA does NOT sell, trade, rent, or distribute your private contact numbers, personal emails, internal reference mappings, or uploaded KYC/Government ID documents to third-party marketing networks or corporate databases. Private files are stored securely on our server for internal verification audits only.

4. Security of Uploaded Documents

We implement a strict multi-layered security infrastructure to maintain the safety of your personal information. Uploaded documents are renamed using secure, unguessable cryptographic hashes and placed within a structured directory on our hosting server. Access to this database is strictly restricted to authorized administrative personnel managing the association's roster.

5. Cookies and Web Log Monitoring

Like any other modern web platform, jta.org.in utilizes standard server log protocols and browser cookies. These cookies are used to store basic session data—such as maintaining an administrator's login state—and to analyze anonymous browser traffic movements to improve user experience. These metrics are entirely detached from your real-world identity files.

6. Data Correction & Retraction Rights

Member agencies have the right to request a complete copy of their stored operational file data, update incorrect contact fields, or request temporary directory removal. If you need to update profile credentials or delete an accidental entry, please contact the JTA web committee officially at connect@jta.org.in.

7. Consent

By submitting your data through our registration portal or continuing to browse our public platform, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy parameters and agree to its regulatory data-handling terms.
